Positive: The breakfast was great, the staff was nice and the bed was comfortable.
Negative: The toilet didn’t flush when I first arrived and the shower drain didn’t work, so the bathroom flooded.

Positive: We liked the location as it was right next to the Spanish Quarter. The room was a bit noisy as we overlooked the street but the hustle and bustle gave a nice atmosphere to the place.
Negative: We asked for a balcony with a view which we got, however we were unable to use the balcony as it had a huge air conditioning unit on it. Disappointing. Another downside was that we were told on arrival that there had been a fire at the hotel and the breakfast room was closed. To obtain our breakfast we were given a voucher to use at a cafe just over the road from the hotel. However the breakfast only included one pastry item and one coffee or tea and did not include orange juice as an alternative. This was very poor.

Positive: It is a good location, with both reasonable restaurant and transport options available
Negative: The accommodation is pretty basic. Other than breakfast there really aren't any amenities. So if what you're looking for is a basic place to sleep then this is a good option
